Frederic Babon

Frédéric Babon is a painter and designer. Self-taught, he started his artistic work very early, together with the younger generation of Hérault artists (Bocaj, Loubas, Routier). He finds his main sources of inspiration in Dado, Belmère and Fred Deux.

Frédéric Babon carries out work on the track. The representation of reality expressed in scientific, technical, architectural and cartographic drawings forms a collective memory and offers a universal reading. Babon's work, a trail on the trail, offers another, eminently unique insight into this reality.

In a dialogue between art, science and technology, the artist seeks to suspend judgment and distance these representations from reality.

In 2018, the artist entered into a dialogue with the Chinese world of worship. The series, entitled ''Madein China'' offers work on mediums usually reserved for calligraphers.
